Dr. Wanita Dixon serves as Chief of Staff and Director of Business Growth at LuftCar, working directly alongside Founder & CEO Santh Sathya to advance the company's mission of transforming air and ground mobility. She supports executive operations, strategic partnerships, commercialization strategy, and fundraising as LuftCar scales toward deployment of its eVTOL platform, SkyBase™ vertiport infrastructure, and SkyPAATH™ AI planning.
Her career spans some of the most demanding engineering and innovation environments in American industry. She spent 10+ years at Pratt & Whitney across propulsion systems and program integration, most recently as General Manager of the North America Technology Accelerator, leading R&D in additive manufacturing, industrial robotics, and precision inspection for aircraft engine repair.
At Carrier she served as Director of Value Engineering, leading a 30+ person team delivering $25M+ in annual savings, and as Chief of Staff to the SVP of Global Engineering.
Beyond industry, Dr. Dixon is a practicing fine artist and the founder of “Paint Your Culture”, a testament to the creative thinking and human touch she brings to every challenge.
She holds a PhD in Organization Management from Capella University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from NC A&T State University.
